Unknown Traffic in the Network

There was a time that the network, internet connection is stable at all. But it doesn't means that all PC that was connected in the network is in a good hands. In the workstation that connected to the Internet Gateway server, you can check it in the snorts alerts (always have this function in every Internet gateway software) that all PC task is known by the server. You can find it in the internet gateway server like a function of a snort alerts. A lot of internet gateway software are used in many IT personnel like a pfsense from linux. Unknown traffic of the PC to the server had some bits of causes like a virus, malware, scripted software like a cron job that can affected to the whole system of a PC. The solution for that is try to do a PC maintenance before doing a reformat. Scanning using a trojan remover tools, antivirus tools, malware or sometimes, the application that was installed in your PC is already infected by the virus and PC cleaning tools. It is possible to find the infected programs and you can remove or uninstall it. After doing PC maintenance, try to check and test if the unknown traffic is fixed.
