Adding a User into the Group on the Windows Server 2003

Assuming that all setup and configuration in your Windows Server 2003 is completed and now, you'll be adding a new Group and a new User and add the user in the group.


1. Go to Start->Administrator->Active Directory Users and Computers
2. Create a new Group and named it QA Department. See below picture.

3. Create a new User and named it John Tryde. See below picture.

And now, you can add the use name John Tryde into the Group QA Department.

4. Right click John Tryde->click Properties and the Window should appear like the below picture.

5. When the properties wizard appeared, find Member Of and then click and Click Add button 

and the Window should appear like the below image.

 6. In the Windows wizards Select Groups, click QA Department and then click Add and then click Ok button.
